Delicious Black Bean Hummus. Hummus is really enjoyable. Full Arabic name: ḥummuṣ bi-ṭ-ṭaḥīna. Originated from Middle-East. You may have tasted the traditional hummus which is utterly tasty. But you can make delicious hummus with black beans, too. Black beans are blended with lime juice, tahini, garlic and some spices for a deliciously creamy dip. You may stir in the jalapeño pepper. This recipe for Hummus is very healthy, refreshing, fiber-rich, and tasteful.
1 cup black beans ( canned would be better, or you can soak them over night, boil them, drain them and then use)
Half cup chickpeas
Olive oil as per required
4 cloves of Garlic Chopped
2 to 3 tbsp of Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper as per your wish
½ tsp of Cumin Powder
2 tbsp of Water
2 tbsp of Tahini
jalapeño pepper (if you like it spicy as per your taste)
Mix all ingredients well with the help of your food processor. Keep on processing until it turns into a smooth soft paste.
You can add more water if the mixture seems to be too thick. After this, transfer the mixture into your favorite bowl. You may garnish it with parsley or coriander.
Adding lemon slices and some toasted garlic bread gives it extra richness. And makes it desirable for food lovers. Enjoy the yummy hummus whenever you like.
